The current education system is more job procurement model and hence colleges are manufacturing B. Tech students and supplying to USA. These technical courses will have no subjects like history, Biographies of National Leaders, Moral Values, Behavioural etiquettes resulting in utter failure in transforming an individual into a personality. Personality coupled with character forms the backbone of society.

The interest in participating in building an impregnable nation has got to be a part of parenting. All the more after the invention of smart phones the habit of reading, writing has completely forgotten by the youth. They lost the source of knowledge and wisdom from experienced intellectuals and valuable books and knowledge. Even writing O.K has been condensed to just “K”.

Many youth can’t read their mother tongue.

Hence there is absolute need to incorporate Moral Science in the curriculum at all levels including the languages.

Every act of every man is a moral act to be tested by moral and not by economic criteria. The time is always right to do what is right. The very foundation of the world will be shaky until the moral props are restored.

We must remember Gandhiji’s words “Morality is the basis of things and truth is the substance of all morality”.

The only wealth we can leave for our next generations is not money bur moral values that are baptized to our youth.
